About Our Fees
Fees & Pricing
Iridium Law Limited (trading as ADG Law) — SRA 813255
At Recover My PCP, we want our clients to understand how much their legal work is likely to cost from the outset, and what services are included in our fees.
We are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) and comply with the SRA Transparency Rules. If you want to check our authorisation then you can do so by using our SRA number, 813255.
Our Fees
If we are acting for you in a matter relating to a potential claim for mis-sold car finance, our fee is charged as a percentage of the settlement (your “award”) that you receive from your lender, subject to a maximum cap in each band, as set out below. We will always confirm our charges with you before starting work.
Contingency Fee (Success Fee)
Up to 30% of your award (plus VAT), based on the award amount:
| Award amount | Fee percentage (ex VAT) | Maximum fee (ex VAT) |
|---|---|---|
| £1 – £1,499 | 30% | £420 |
| £1,500 – £9,999 | 28% | £2,500 |
| £10,000 – £24,999 | 25% | £5,000 |
| £25,000 – £49,999 | 20% | £7,500 |
| £50,000 and over | 15% | £10,000 |
VAT is charged on our fee in addition, at the prevailing rate (currently 20%). Worked example: if you received the FCA’s estimated average redress of £829, our fee at 30% would be £248.70, plus VAT of £49.74 — a total fee of £298.44 — leaving you with £530.56. Your actual fee depends on the band into which your award falls, and is capped at the maximum shown for that band.
Disbursements
Disbursements are costs payable to third parties (such as credit file search fees and expert reports). We will always explain likely disbursements at the outset and handle payment on your behalf where possible. VAT where applicable.
Who Will Handle Your Case
Your matter will be handled by our SRA-regulated solicitors and paralegals, supervised by a director of the firm. You will be told the name, status and qualifications of the person handling your case, and who supervises their work.
